Scary Horse Show Jackpot

Yesterday we took Peyton to the Scary Horse Show Jackpot put on by the Silver Spurs at the Bluffdale arena. The whole show was Halloween themed and was a so much fun for the kids. I think Peyton gets better and better every show she goes to. She did so good placing in every event.

Peyton and Rummy dressed as clowns for the Horse and Rider Costume Contest

Peyton and Preslie warming up their horses

This picture kind of scares me. I can't decide if she looks like the joker in the latest Batman movie or the clown from the movie IT.

Colter and Woody (aka Houston) playing in the dirt. This is actually Houston's costume from last year. My mom has been working on his and Peyton's costumes for this Halloween and is taking them to Disneyland this week for them to wear to the Mickey's Halloween Party.

Peyton and Rummy took 2nd place in the Horse and Rider Costume Contest (she hated her wig, can you tell?)

Peyton in Candy Barrels (aka Speed Barrels). You had to weave up through the barrels, grab a bag of candy on the end barrel, and then weave back down through them. She took 4th place.

Peyton in the Great Pumpkin Race (Keyhole). The Keyhole was line with little pumpkins.

Peyton coming home from the Keyhole. She took 5th place.

Peyton in her favorite event, the Cornstalk Race (Poles). She took 3rd place.

Houston, Bradyn and Rummy

Peyton leading Rummy in the Apple Dash. This is where you lead your horse as fast as you can weaving through the poles, feed your horse a piece of apple, then get on your horse and run straight back.

Running back in the Apple Dash. Peyton took 4th place.

Peyton in the Scarecrow Race (aka Barrels). She took 6th place.

The next morning with all 6 of her ribbons. She also won a wopping $1.50 for taking 3rd in Poles. She thought it was awesome! She placed 2nd, 3rd, 4th (twice), 5th and 6th in the events. The ony place she didn't place was 1st. Maybe next time.

Way to go Peyton, we are so proud of you!!!

How cute! I love the costumes :) I took horseback lessons when I was a little girl and I was terrified of horses. It was a bad experience. ha! So I am always impressed with the little kids who are naturally so good at it. Way to go Peyton!
