Joys!
1... My husband, kids and family. I am so blessed to have them in my life.
2... I have the best group of friends. Even though some of them consist of cousins and in-laws I still consider them friends. It amazes me that we have all stayed so close for so many years.
3... To see my parents succeed. I love to watch my parents race horses run and especially when they do good. They have worked very hard to get to where they are at.
Fears!
1... Losing someone I love especially my kids. I now understand the meaning of giving your life for your kids. I have already lost very special people in my life and I don't deal with it well.
2... Sharks, rattlesnakes and mountain lions. I am not sure why I fear these so much but I have nightmares about at least one of them weekly.
3... Getting ill and not being able to care for my kids.
Goals!
1... Get to where I can work part time from home so that I can stay home with my kids.
2... Get completely out of debt. Isn't this everybody's goal? I don't think it is ever completely possible though.
3... Buy property with irrigation large enough to build a new house, a barn, pasture for the horses, an arena and a hay field. There goes my goal to get out of debt.
Obsessions!
1... Lately it has been reading blogs and myspace pages almost daily. I need to go back to work 'cause I have had way to much time on my hands.
2... Shopping. Even if I don't have anything particular in mind or don't end up buying much, I love to just go and look around.
3... I have a sweet tooth. I love desserts, chocolate, ice cream, etc. You name it, I love it. This makes it hard when I am tying to diet. Although occasionally I will go through phases where I would rather have something salty than sweet.
Suprising Facts About Me!
1... I am not crazy about babies and kids. I love my own kids, my neices and nephews, cousins and friends kids. But I don't see a baby and just have to hold it and I don't know if I would have the patience to be a teacher or take care of strangers kids for a living.
2... It drives me crazy when my kids get dirty. I know they are just kids but it never fails when we are trying to go to a wedding or a party and Peyton is dressed in white or a nice dress, she gets a bloody nose or spills all down the front of her.
3... I am a neat freak, I think. You wouldn't know it by looking at my house right now but my office at work is spotless. Before I had kids my house was always clean. After kids there is no hope. When I clean I can't just do one thing like sweep or vacuum, I have clean the whole house from top to bottom.

Our Trip to New Mexico
We had so much fun in New Mexico. Bradyn, Houston and I flew into El Paso, Texas last Wednesday morning and my mom and Peyton picked us up from the airport. We then drove from El Paso to Ruidoso, New Mexico. Thursday was the All American Futurity Trials. It started off with some really bad luck in the first trial. Ravin Corona, a horse my dad owns half of was winning his trial by about 3 lengths when all the sudden he had to pull up in front of the grandstands because he slabbed at the knee. He slabbed so bad that they ended up having to put him down. If he hadn't have slabbed he would have qualified for the futurity. It was really a terrible loss because he was such a nice horse. My dad one the last trial with Feature Ten but was 3 thousands of second from qualifying for the futurity. This horse ended up qualifying first in the juvenille. The other 5 horses he had in the trials run pretty good but weren't in fast enough trials to qualify. Friday was the All American Derby Trials. They had better luck this day. Wild Six run second in her trial and qualified third fastest for the derby. On Friday night we went to the horse sale. Saturday back to the races to watch Sycamore Lane run who ended up a really close third in the mud. Saturday night we went back to the horse sale. Then on Sunday we drove with my dad to Albuquerque where my mom and brother had horses running. And then Monday afternoon Bradyn, Peyton, Houston and I flew back home. Here are some pictures from our trip.
