We had so much fun in New Mexico. Bradyn, Houston and I flew into El Paso, Texas last Wednesday morning and my mom and Peyton picked us up from the airport. We then drove from El Paso to Ruidoso, New Mexico. Thursday was the All American Futurity Trials. It started off with some really bad luck in the first trial. Ravin Corona, a horse my dad owns half of was winning his trial by about 3 lengths when all the sudden he had to pull up in front of the grandstands because he slabbed at the knee. He slabbed so bad that they ended up having to put him down. If he hadn't have slabbed he would have qualified for the futurity. It was really a terrible loss because he was such a nice horse. My dad one the last trial with Feature Ten but was 3 thousands of second from qualifying for the futurity. This horse ended up qualifying first in the juvenille. The other 5 horses he had in the trials run pretty good but weren't in fast enough trials to qualify. Friday was the All American Derby Trials. They had better luck this day. Wild Six run second in her trial and qualified third fastest for the derby. On Friday night we went to the horse sale. Saturday back to the races to watch Sycamore Lane run who ended up a really close third in the mud. Saturday night we went back to the horse sale. Then on Sunday we drove with my dad to Albuquerque where my mom and brother had horses running. And then Monday afternoon Bradyn, Peyton, Houston and I flew back home. Here are some pictures from our trip.

It looks like you guys had lots of fun! That's too bad about having to put the horse down, I'm sure that really upset your parents. I can't believe that you got your dad to pose for so many pictures!! I miss my Aunt Jill and Jason so much! Houston is getting so big! I loved the pictures!!
