This last Friday and Saturday night was the RMPRA Rodeo Finals held in Heber City. Bradyn happened to qualify in the steer wrestling so we went up to watch and support him. He drew bad steers both nights and didn't have the best of luck there but it was still fun to go and hang out with everybody and the kids had a blast playing with their friends and cousins.

A Great End To Halloween
Last night my parents had a horse named Gone To The Mountain run in the Red Cell Distance Challenge held at Los Alamitos in California. So after trick or treating we came home to watch him run on TVG. There was so much publicity around this race since Gone To The Mountain is the current world record holder for the fastest time going 870 yards and another horse named Snowbound Superstar had 15 consecutive wins going into last nights race. Not to mention the other horses that were in the race that deserved to be there but didn't have all the hoopla that these two had. It was so nerve racking waiting for the race to run. Snowbound Superstar had the advantage running on his home turf but in the end after an impressive race the winner was, GONE TO THE MOUNTAIN!!!! It was so much fun to watch and made us wish even more that we had gone like we had been planning for months. Bradyn was still wanting to go and was ready to drive straight there yesterday morning to make in time for the race. If it wasn't for Halloween and 2 kids to worry about I would have done it. Hopefully they qualify again next year and we can go. Congratulations Dad and Mom, it was so exciting!!! And to Jason for holding down the fort and who had 2 for 4. Not too shabby. %5B1%5D.jpg)

Halloween Day
Yesterday was a busy day for us. We started it out by trying to get a GOOD picture of the kids dressed up in their cute Halloween costumes. Impossible!
Peyton as Hannah Montana and Houston as Sherriff Woody
Next we took the kids trick or treating for candy and yummy sugar cookies at my Grandma Pat's house.
Houston loved my Grandma's dog Freckles
He would not let go of the tags on her collar
The kids with my Grandma
We then went to Bradyn's parents for dinner, more candy and even a gift for all.
Colter as Frankenstein
Houston loved his costume and totally played the part as Woody
Houston and Colter playing on the tractor
The girls opening their gifts from Grandpa and Grandma
This picture was an easy one
Now throw two 16 month old boys in there and this is what you get!
Since our neighborhood does the trunk or treat we decided to stop by Kendall and Kallie's to go trick or treating with them since their neighborhood still does the traditional trick or treating.
Thanks everybody for having us over. We had a great Halloween!

Halloween Party
A few years back Hadley and Haylee started the Halloween Party tradition with all of our friends. Since then everybody has kind of taken their turn to host the party. This year the party was at Shayne and Mandy's this last Friday night. I am kind of bummed because I didn't get a whole lot of pictures and even more bummed that I didn't get any of Peyton. She must have been busy playing all night. It was a lot fun and the kids had a blast. Thanks Shayne and Mandy for having us over!!!
Houston as Sherriff Woody
Preslie as a Utah Cheerleader and Hallie as a Pirate
Shayne, Mandy, Tana, Kendall and Hazen
You can see Bradyn in the cream colored sweatshirt and black T. He is supposed to be Emmett from Twilight but his costume didn't land too well.
Houston and Colter
Me as Rosalie from Twilight, Tana as a Pirate, Kallie, Haylee as a Hillbilly and Colter

Carving Pumpkins
Last Thursday night we carved our pumpkins. Peyton was excited because this year she was big enough to carve her pumpkin all by herself and she did a really good job. Houston just pretty much run around, played and made a mess while we carved. He thought it was neat to go outside and light the pumpkins when we were all done though.

Picking Out Pumpkins
This last Friday I took the kids to the pumpkin patch on 11800 South 3600 West in Riverton so that they could finally pick out their pumpkins. Houston just loves being outside so he went wild running up and down the aisles and chasing the chickens around. He wasn't really sure what to think about all the pumpkins and was more concerned about picking up sticks. Peyton loved picking out pumpkins for the 4 of us and then going through the corn maze. After we picked out our pumpkins the kids thought it was neat to sit on all of the tractors.

Peyton has always had a fascination with tractors. Everytime Bradyn brings one home from work or his dads she will ride with him all day.
Houston thought he was so big on the tractors
It is so hard to get good pictures of these 2 together
